Cherie Hearts Kota Damansara is the 18th Cherie Hearts centre to be opened in Malaysia. Situated in Sunway Nexis, a fast-growing township in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, the branch was officially opened in August 2018 as an international mid to high-end childcare & preschool by the current Managing Director and Owner of the Cherie Hearts National Master Franchisee, Mrs Sonia Lim.

We open from 7:30am to 7:00pm on all working days and from 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays for enquiries and visits.

Cherie Hearts Kota Damansara has a very generous space and play facilities. Our 10,000 square feet facility provides a whole host of services that cater to the varying needs of parents and children.
We have a huge indoor playground, and also introduced the first children gym with a multitude of exercise options especially designed for our little Cherians to improve their gross and fine motor skills. On top of that, the centre has a spacious kid-friendly library fully stocked with children’s books.
Curriculum
Our specially designed active and interactive program is developed by our team of Early Childhood and Development specialists. Each lesson is connected and built on the previous one to ensure that the children are able to understand and learn in a systematic manner.
As the first few years of a child’s life are formative years, we offer a complete Early Childhood education program for 2 months to 6 years old. Our comprehensive syllabus results in children who are well prepared to enter primary school. This high standard of curriculum is delivered by our teachers who are well trained, caring and qualified.
Activity based learning
Our Jump Start Years and Bridging Years programmes provide a learning environment that gives children the opportunity to discover and learn.
We use activities, materials and games to teach and this actively engages students to think and develop. Activity based learning also helps expose children to problem-solving and independent critical thinking which are skills that are very much needed as they start to navigate themselves in the real world.

Background Progress of Kota Damansara
Kota Damansara is spread over 4,000 acres (16 km²) of land. This township is located in Petaling Jaya, Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. Kota Damansara is also a state seat constituency in between Petaling Jaya and Subang.
Famous landmarks near the township are the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia and Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. The state is under the Subang parliamentary constituency.
History
The town was previously a forest reserve boarded by Tropicana Golf and Country Club in the south, Bandar Utama Damansara in the southeast, and Sungai Buloh Industrial Park in the west. Kota Damansara was initially developed by PKNS in 1922.
Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) owns the land in this township. It is being developed jointly through PKNS, joint ventures, and privatization. 1,500 acres (6 km²) of the land has been set aside for housing and is divided into 12 sections. Another 1,000 acres (4 km²) has been set aside for a botanical garden.
Other amenities at Kota Damansara include the Seri Selangor Golf Course, the Selangor Polo Country Club, Tropicana Medical Centre, International University College of Technology Twintech (IUCTT), primary schools, and secondary schools.
Transport
By car
If you are travelling from Petaling Jaya, the shortest route to Kota Damansara would be via the Damansara–Puchong Expressway. All you have to do is take the Mutiara Damansara exit that is nearby IKEA. The township is connected to Subang Jaya and Sungai Buloh via the old Subang Airport road.
Alternatively, you can use the Persiaran Mahogani and pass through several housing areas. Kota Damansara is the second last exit on the NKVE before Bukit Lanjan and Mont Kiara.
By public transport
Surian MRT and Kota Damansara MRT are the township’s only railway stations. There are also feeder buses going to Section 6, 7 and 8 in Kota Damansara from Kwasa Sentral MRT. RapidKL Bus 780 and BET1 travels to Pasar Seni, Kuala Lumpur, and 802 travels to KJ24 Kelana Jaya LRT station.
