Cherie Hearts Eco Sanctuary programs & operating hours

We understand that in many families, both mom and dad are working. Our long operation hours allow parents to do what they have to without having to worry about their children. We are open from 7:30am to 7:00pm on working weekdays as well as during the public-school term break.

Our programme caters to infants from 2 months old (Infant Care) up children aged 6 (Kindergarten 2). As such, moms can return to the work with ease of mind, knowing that their children are in good hands. Our programme aims to prepare students for both mainstream primary school or elementary grade international school.

Infant Care	2 months to 17 months old
Playgroup 1	18 months old to 2 years old
Playgroup 2	3 years old
Nursery	4 years old
Kindergarten 1	5 years old
Kindergarten 2	6 years old

Considering the current pandemic situation, Cherie hearts also provides Virtual Learning Classes for the aforementioned age groups.

We take the education and safety of the children under our care very seriously. As such, we make sure to keep our class sizes as small as possible so that no child is left behind.

Our class teacher to student ratio is as follows:

• Infant (2 to 17 months) – 1:3
• Playgroup 1 (18 months to 35 months) – 1:5
• Playgroup 2 (3 years old) – 1:5

• Kindergarten 1 & 2 (5 to 6 years old) – 1:12

Other facilities

Our center is equipped with spaces and classes that are specially designed to encourage children to learn. We have a library stocked with age appropriate books, a music room and art room that fosters creativity and a playground where children can develop their motor skills. 

We also have a dining room where our students can have their food. All meals provided by Cherie Hearts Eco Sanctuary are planned by our in house nutritionist to ensure that it is balanced and healthy.  

Curriculum

We believe that children’s development should be holistic. The Cherie Hearts curriculum is specially crafted by our early childhood and early development specialists to ensure an interactive curriculum that promotes physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development. 

Lessons are built upon the previous classes and this planned progression makes it easier for children to grasp ideas and concepts. Our Jumpstart Years Curriculum prepares the very young for the Bridging Years Curriculum that ensures a smooth transition to primary school.

Activity based learning

Children thrive when they are engaged in the learning process. We have a balance of both active and passive learning as well as child and teacher led activities. By providing this balance, we offer an environment that encourages your child to be inquisitive and to learn and discover. This positive attitude towards learning will also help them as they move to primary school.
